1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:

Prepare the Tilapia:
Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. Place the fillets on top of the lemon slices in the baking dish.
Make the Lemon Butter Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Pour the mixture over the tilapia fillets, ensuring they are well-coated. Sprinkle the capers and dried oregano over the top.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the tilapia is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately, spooning the pan juices over the fish.
